Previous Page Queen’s Chamber – Hexagon
The imagined extra 2 lines that create a hexagon may be considered the centre line of a conduit shape with the same profile as the shafts. Therefore a conduit 2 x 2 HC following the path of the hexagon sides would neatly connect the shafts, and the centre of the conduit would just as neatly, touch the floor of the Queen’s Chamber.
Such an implied connection of the shafts might lead to a purpose far more plausible than ‘air shafts’ that don’t allow air flow.
